Description:

The Notation Department uses the Benesh Movement Notation System exclusively. The Department is responsible for notating and setting new and existing work in the repertoire as well as the maintenance and updating of the Benesh Notation Library & Archive.

You will be able to witness how Benesh Movement Notation is applied during the rehearsal process. You will learn the versatility of skills a notator must have and help with the day to day maintenance and cataloguing of the library and archive.

1-2 weeks

Hours:

Approximately 11am to 5pm, Monday - Friday

Location:

Covent Garden

Minimum Entry Requirements:

Aged 17+

Selection Criteria:

You should have a proven interest in Dance Notation and a basic understanding of Benesh Movement Notation.
